$750 to St. John the Baptist in Jordan for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program
St. John the Baptist Coordinator of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program Diane Trettel writes,
“This year we had several new families join our parish specifically because we offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). Families desire CGS for their children because of its hands-on teaching method where students learn about scripture and the geography of where Jesus lived and died. Because of this grant, were able to offer two classes at the same time, offering more students the opportunity to attend at a given timeframe. CGS is such a Eucharistic program, and these young children will know the Eucharist is Jesus before they ever reach their first Communion. That is how Catechesis of the Good Shepherd supports a Eucharistic Revival!”
