We are pleased to announce that Brenda Murphy joined the Catholic Community Foundation (CCF) this past December. As Database and Prospect Research Analyst, Brenda provides invaluable support for all aspects of development and donor relations. She is responsible for the database management, providing analytical information that enhances the stewardship of gifts made to the Foundation.
Prior to her role with Catholic Community Foundation, Brenda worked for over 20 years with the Science Museum of Minnesota. While there, she acquired a strong background in all facets of fundraising including gift processing, annual fund solicitations, development operations, accounting and finance, and computer operations.
Brenda received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from Keuka College in upstate New York and her Masters in Art History from the University of Minnesota. Brenda resides in Saint Paul where she is a member of Maternity of Mary parish. When not at work Brenda keeps busy with sewing projects, reading and playing the piano. She especially enjoys winter pastimes like baking, watching movies and tackling jigsaw puzzles. As much as she loves shoveling snow, Brenda’s real highlight each year is the “Back to the Fifties” car show in June. She has provided volunteer support for Dorothy Day Center, Joseph’s Coat, and has served as a Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister at her parish.
“Brenda brings her passion for service to our team,” said CCF President Anne Cullen Miller. “She has dedicated countless hours to helping those less fortunate and understands the importance of philanthropy and stewardship at its core.”
If you have questions for Brenda or would like to welcome her to CCF, you can contact her at 651.389.0878 or murphyb@ccf-mn.org.
