We are pleased to announce that Mary Haeg joined the Catholic Community Foundation (CCF) in January. As our Development/Gift Planning Officer, Mary will assist Vice President of Development and Donor Relations with the stewardship of individual planned gifts made to the Foundation.
Though she originally hails from Minnesota, Mary comes to us from a three-year stint in Georgia, where she served as development director at Macon Volunteer Clinic. This free community health clinic, located in central Georgia, provides a full spectrum of health and dental care for working, uninsured adults.
Prior to her role with Macon Volunteer Clinic, Mary worked for United Way of Central Georgia as a grant writer and loaned executive. While there, she helped secure over $500,000 in national Social Innovation Funds to support, in partnership with AARP, a tutor-mentor program in Bibb County elementary schools.
Mary received both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas. Mary, her husband Andy, and their three children are members of the Church of the Assumption in St. Paul. When not at work Mary enjoys traveling, crossword puzzles, biking along the Mississippi River Boulevard and spending time with her friends and family.
“Mary is a wonderful addition to our team,” said CCF President Anne Cullen Miller. “She has deep roots in our local Catholic community and a heart for helping individuals express their faith through generosity.”
If you have questions for Mary or would like to welcome her to CCF, you can contact her at 651.389.0875 or haegm@ccf-mn.org.
