Dear Friends:
Anniversaries are special milestones, marking not just years passed, but goals accomplished and lives changed. The Catholic Community Foundation (CCF) is embarking on our 25th anniversary year – a quarter of a century of giving. CCF began with a simple idea to serve as a steward of the charitable financial resources of Catholic individuals, families, parishes, and organizations.
This faithful Minnesota community responded with great enthusiasm, and in 25 years, we’ve grown to become the largest Catholic community foundation in the nation and the sixth largest public grantmaker in the state. We’ve granted an astounding $141 million on behalf of our generous donors. Undoubtedly, our success is a direct reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit that resounds in this local Catholic community.
We invite you to join us at our anniversary event on April 26, 2018, as we celebrate our collective accomplishments and look ahead to the next 25 years. The event’s theme, Come to the Table, is based on the wisdom of our keynote speaker, Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, who encourages Catholics to embrace “the power of the table.” A most-effective symbol, the table is where we come together to share – to share the many blessings we’ve received and our very presence with one another. In this way, the table illustrates both the heart and aim of Catholic philanthropy.
As we celebrate CCF’s 25th anniversary, I am grateful for this community of committed and visionary philanthropists, leaders, and friends, who have come to the table of Catholic philanthropy. I am excited about the momentum spurred by growing support of our mission: supporting the spiritual, educational and social needs of this Catholic community. There is still plenty of room at the table of Catholic philanthropy and there is plenty left to accomplish. Please get in touch with me at millera@ccf-mn.org or 651.389.0881 to learn how you can get involved.
We hope you’ll join us in April!
Sincerely,
Anne Cullen Miller, MBA
