$6,000 grant to Elevate Life for Operating Support
Elevate Life President Vaunae Hansel writes,
“The generous funds we received were used in two specific areas. The first was used to help in hiring a nurse at Elevate Life to support our metro affiliate medical teams as they help women standing at the crossroads of a pregnancy decision by introducing them to their preborn baby via ultrasounds. The second area was in providing training for new pregnancy clinic staff in how to support women experiencing unexpected or difficult pregnancies. This training included how to present both the option of parenting and the possibility of placing their baby in an adoptive home, as well as an understanding of trauma-informed care.
“This grant significantly improved the support we can provide the 39 pregnancy clinics affiliated with us and helps all our affiliates stay up to date on medical standards. We appreciate the generous and flexible support of the Catholic Community Foundation of Minnesota this past year helping us advance our mission and our work in the community!”
