$3,000 grant to the Church of St. Katharine Drexel for a summer intern.
St. Katharine Drexel Director of Youth Ministry & Faith Formation Troy Bauer writes,
“This grant was a great blessing to the Church of St. Katharine Drexel as it allowed us to provide a wholesome internship experience to two worthy individuals that our otherwise small, understaffed parish would not have been able to afford. This grant allowed for these two individuals to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of a parish, the logistics and difficulties of planning a mission trip and a Vacation Bible School, and the behind-the-scenes of IT and social media as they assisted with our livestream, website, and social media accounts. They also assisted with the implementation of a new youth bible study. These wonderful individuals that we were able to hire through your gracious grant were able to grow immensely as people, and have taken this experience to more leadership and ministry opportunities at their respective college institutions.”
